Catalyst is proud to be a marketing partner of Johns Hopkins Medicine and help JHM communicate to the public how they can get the care they need in the time of Covid-19.


With unique experience and an understanding of Tricare Prime marketing challenges, Catalyst was tapped by USFHP @ PacMed to launch a new 2020 new member recruitment campaign to include print advertising, digital advertising and direct mail. This twelve-month program will launch in February 2020 with new touch point strategies, new creative & new response channels.


Catalyst was proud to be a featured speaker at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Communications and Marketing workshop.  The Catalyst team wowed the 60 workshop participants with a three-hour presentation on the how-to’s of strategic communications and marketing planning.


The talk covered such topics as media and public relations, student recruitment communications, marketing collateral development, social media planning, fundraising and much more.


After multiple presentations and strategic marketing meetings, Catalyst was selected as an agency partner for Notre Dame of Maryland University. The agency will begin work on a new mass media campaign for student recruitment beginning this Fall. Multiple colleges within the University will be a part of this exciting new campaign.

When Johns Hopkins Medicine was looking for a marketing partner to help promote their new outpatient facility at Green Spring Station, they looked no further than long-term marketing partner Catalyst Communications. A comprehensive media plan was developed using radio, digital, social, outdoor, print, direct mail, & event support. The multi-channel, six-month campaign began with print advertising in local publications. Utilizing images of the new facility and focusing on Johns Hopkins reputation in the marketplace, the new campaign hit the mark.

After years of mailing similar direct mail packages, the first new USFHP @ PacMed has hit the mail stream. This multi-step program begins with a #10 package, packed with information, beautiful imagery and response channel testing.

Catalyst is proud to be selected as the marketing and communications partner of the Howard County Conservancy. Catalyst will work with the Conservancy to develop and execute a communications plan for an educational and advocacy campaign about single use plastics.


We are excited to be helping the organization achieve its mission to educate children and adults about the natural world, preserve the land and its legacy and model responsible stewardship of the environment.
