Catalyst is proud to be selected as the marketing and communications partner of the Howard County Conservancy. Catalyst will work with the Conservancy to develop and execute a communications plan for an educational and advocacy campaign about single use plastics.


We are excited to be helping the organization achieve its mission to educate children and adults about the natural world, preserve the land and its legacy and model responsible stewardship of the environment.

Catalyst was proud to be a featured speaker at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Communications and Marketing workshop.  The Catalyst team wowed the 60 workshop participants with a three-hour presentation on the how-to’s of strategic communications and marketing planning.


The talk covered such topics as media and public relations, student recruitment communications, marketing collateral development, social media planning, fundraising and much more.

Snapchat has been all over the news this month, as they opened a private marketplace for publishers to sell ad space directly to advertisers, made waves as advertisers testing their newly released pixel reported greater efficiency in CPM and conversion rate than Instagram Stories, and is reportedly laying the groundwork for a partnership with Amazon to develop a new “visual search” feature.
